  • ½ cup mayonnaise (120 ml)
  • 2 medium fresh jalapeños, seeded and finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • Salt to taste (start with ½ teaspoon)
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Rinse jalapeños, slice in half, and remove seeds for milder heat. Finely chop jalapeños, parsley, and chives.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine sour cream and mayonnaise. Stir gently to blend into a smooth, creamy base.
  3. Add ranch seasoning mix, garlic powder, and onion powder. Stir well to evenly distribute spices.
  4. Fold in chopped jalapeños, parsley, and chives.
  5. Add fresh lime juice and stir to combine.
  6. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Adjust seasoning or heat level as preferred.
  7. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld before serving.

Notes

Chill the dip for at least 30 minutes to mellow jalapeño heat and blend flavors. For a thinner dip, add a splash of milk or buttermilk. Adjust spice by leaving seeds in jalapeños or adding more chopped peppers. Fresh herbs are preferred for best flavor.
