A refreshing and creamy iced tea float combining smooth cold brew coffee, fresh peach iced tea, and a luscious homemade vanilla cream topping. Perfect for a quick, indulgent summer treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup (240 ml) cold brew coffee (medium roast preferred)
  • 1 cup (240 ml) peach iced tea (brewed black tea chilled with fresh peach slices or store-bought low sugar peach iced tea)
  • 1 large ripe peach, thinly sliced (fresh or frozen)
  • Vanilla Cream:
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) heavy cream, chilled
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • Optional: pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg
  • Ice cubes, enough to fill tall glasses

Instructions

  1. Brew black tea strong enough to hold up to dilution (about 2 tea bags per cup), add sliced peaches, and chill for at least 1 hour.
  2. In a chilled bowl, whip 1/2 cup heavy cream with 2 tablespoons powdered sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract until soft peaks form (3-5 minutes).
  3. Combine 1 cup cold brew coffee and 1 cup chilled peach iced tea in a pitcher; stir gently to blend flavors.
  4. Fill tall glasses about 3/4 full with ice cubes and add a few peach slices.
  5. Pour the cold brew peach iced tea mixture over the ice, leaving about an inch of space at the top.
  6. Top each glass with a generous dollop of the whipped vanilla cream.
  7. Garnish with a peach slice on the rim or a dash of cinnamon and serve immediately with a straw and long spoon.

Notes

Chill the mixing bowl and beaters before whipping cream for best results. Add sweetener to tea or cream, not cold brew, to avoid gritty texture. Vanilla cream can be made ahead and stored up to 24 hours in the fridge. For dairy-free, substitute heavy cream with coconut cream and powdered sugar with maple syrup.
