A quick and easy homemade party drink perfect for summer, combining fresh strawberries, lemon juice, lemonade, and sparkling water for a refreshing and crowd-pleasing punch.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice (about 45 lemons)
  • 4 cups cold lemonade (store-bought or homemade)
  • 2 cups sparkling water (plain or lemon-flavored)
  • Ice cubes, as needed
  • A handful of fresh mint leaves (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the sliced strawberries with 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar. Toss gently to coat and let sit for 10-15 minutes to macerate.
  2. While the strawberries rest, juice 4-5 fresh lemons to make about 1 cup of lemon juice. Remove seeds.
  3. Add the freshly squeezed lemon juice to the macerated strawberries along with any collected juices. Stir gently to combine.
  4. Pour in 4 cups of cold lemonade to the mixture. Stir carefully to blend.
  5. Refrigerate the punch for 30 minutes to let the flavors marry, or serve immediately over ice.
  6. Just before serving, gently pour in 2 cups of sparkling water for a refreshing fizz. Stir softly to combine without losing bubbles.
  7. Garnish with fresh mint leaves and a few whole strawberries. Optionally add lemon slices.

Notes

Macerate strawberries to release natural juices for richer flavor. Add sparkling water last and stir gently to preserve fizz. For extra cold punch without dilution, use frozen lemonade or sparkling water cubes. Prepare base up to 6 hours ahead and add sparkling water just before serving.
