A quick and easy festive party drink combining tart cranberry juice, zesty citrus, and sparkling soda for a refreshing, crowd-pleasing punch.

  • 4 cups (960 ml) 100% pure cranberry juice
  • 2 cups (480 ml) freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 3 cups (720 ml) ginger ale or sparkling water
  • ½ cup fresh cranberries (optional, for garnish)
  • 1 medium orange, thinly sliced (for garnish)
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) simple syrup or honey (optional, for sweetness adjustment)

Instructions

  1. Chill cranberry juice, orange juice, and ginger ale in the fridge for about 30 minutes before making the punch.
  2. Squeeze the orange and lime juice into a mixing pitcher or punch bowl, straining out any seeds.
  3. Pour in the cranberry juice and stir gently to combine with the citrus juices.
  4. Add simple syrup or honey starting with 2 tablespoons, stir well, and adjust sweetness to taste.
  5. Just before serving, slowly stir in the chilled ginger ale or sparkling water to preserve the bubbles.
  6. Garnish with fresh cranberries and orange slices. Optionally add sprigs of fresh rosemary or mint.

Notes

Chill all ingredients before mixing to keep punch refreshing without diluting with too much ice. Add sparkling soda last and stir gently to preserve fizz. Adjust sweetness after tasting. For adult version, add vodka or sparkling wine. Use frozen cranberries or ice cubes made from cranberry juice to avoid watering down.
