These turkey cranberry sliders combine the nostalgia of Thanksgiving flavors with the convenience of a handheld bite, making them perfect for parties, potlucks, or casual lunches.

Ingredients

  • Slider rolls (soft, fluffy rolls like Hawaiian rolls)
  • Cooked turkey (shredded or sliced, leftover turkey is perfect)
  • Cranberry sauce (homemade or store-bought)
  • Swiss cheese (slices that melt beautifully)
  • Unsalted butter (melted for brushing)
  • Dijon mustard
  • Dried rosemary (optional)
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease the baking dish lightly with butter or cooking spray.
  2. Using a serrated knife, slice the slider rolls in half horizontally, keeping the tops and bottoms intact as a single sheet.
  3. Place the bottom half of the rolls in the baking dish. Spread a thin layer of cranberry sauce over the bread. Add the shredded turkey evenly across the rolls, followed by the slices of Swiss cheese.
  4. Place the top half of the rolls back on, ensuring they are aligned properly.
  5. In a small bowl, combine melted butter, Dijon mustard, dried rosemary, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
  6. Using a pastry brush, generously coat the tops of the rolls with the butter mixture.
  7. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for another 5-7 minutes or until the tops are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  8. Let the sliders cool for a couple of minutes before slicing them individually. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

For a dairy-free option, use plant-based butter and skip the cheese or use a dairy-free alternative. Add extra cranberry sauce or turkey gravy to the layers for added moisture.
