  • 1/4 cup cottage cheese (optional, for extra creamy texture)

Instructions

  1. Take vanilla ice cream out of the freezer to soften slightly (about 5 minutes). Measure milk and peppermint extract.
  2. In a blender, combine 2 cups vanilla ice cream, 1 cup whole milk, 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract, and a few drops of green food coloring if desired.
  3. Optionally add 1/4 cup cottage cheese for extra creaminess.
  4. Blend on high for 30-45 seconds until smooth and silky. If too thick, add a splash more milk and blend again.
  5. Taste and adjust peppermint extract or thickness as desired.
  6. Pour into tall glasses, top with whipped cream and a maraschino cherry.
