Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup (240 ml) milk (whole milk or non-dairy alternatives like almond, oat, or coconut milk)
  • 1 cup (240 ml) heavy cream (or coconut cream for non-dairy version)
  • Β½ cup (100 g) sweetener (granulated sugar, brown sugar, or maple syrup)
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) vanilla extract
  • 3 tablespoons (45 g) pumpkin puree (optional for pumpkin spice creamer)
  • Β½ teaspoon (2 g) ground cinnamon
  • Pinch of nutmeg
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, mix 1 cup of milk, 1 cup of heavy cream, and Β½ cup of your chosen sweetener. Stir well.
  2. Stir in 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, 3 tablespoons of pumpkin puree (optional), Β½ teaspoon of cinnamon, and a pinch of nutmeg.
  3. Place the saucepan over medium heat and whisk continuously for about 5-7 minutes until the mixture is warm and slightly thickened. Do not let it boil.
  4. Remove from heat and taste. Adjust the sweetness or spices as needed.
  5. Pour the mixture through a fine mesh strainer to remove any lumps or spice particles for an ultra-smooth texture (optional).
  6. Let the creamer cool for 15 minutes before transferring it to a mason jar or airtight container. Refrigerate for up to one week.
