Tender, flaky salmon baked in a creamy Boursin cheese sauce, perfect for cozy family dinners or entertaining guests.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 5 oz Boursin cheese (Garlic & Fine Herbs flavor)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • Fresh parsley or dill for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C). Lightly grease your baking dish with olive oil or cooking spray.
  2. Place the salmon fillets in the baking dish. Pat them dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  3. In a small mixing bowl, combine the Boursin cheese, heavy cream, minced garlic, and lemon juice. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  4. Spread the creamy mixture evenly over the salmon fillets, ensuring each fillet is generously coated.
  5. Drizzle a bit of olive oil over the top of the salmon to keep it moist as it bakes.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-22 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. The sauce should be bubbly and slightly golden around the edges.
  7. Optional: Broil the salmon for 1-2 minutes at the end for a beautifully browned top.
  8. Remove from the oven and let it rest for 2-3 minutes. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley or dill before serving.

Notes

Pat the salmon dry to help seasoning stick and prevent the sauce from getting watered down. Broil briefly for a browned top, and consider doubling the sauce for dipping or serving with pasta.
