  • 10.5 oz can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs (optional)
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the rice according to package instructions and let it cool.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream of chicken soup, milk, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until smooth.
  4. Fold in the cooked chicken, rice, shredded cheese, and frozen peas. Mix well to combine.
  5. Transfer the mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish and spread it out evenly.
  6. Optional: Mix the melted butter with the panko breadcrumbs and sprinkle evenly over the casserole.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
  8. Let the casserole rest for 5 minutes before serving.
